Designers Grace Mirams and Lillian Cotter show off their creations at the Co-act Pop Up Shop in Dunedin at the weekend.

The duo were joined by fellow Otago Polytechnic student Paige Jansen in hosting the pop-up store in George St from Friday to Sunday.

The trio were amazed by the support from the community, Miss Mirams said. ``People are really happy and they love to see locally made stuff,'' she said.

Soon after opening the doors on Friday more than half the stock had sold. ``The main core of it is to express the underground creative scene Dunedin has,'' Miss Mirams said.

It was the second time the concept had taken place with the pop-up store opening in a different location last year.

``It was very successful, so this year we decided to get a bigger space with a lot more designers.''

Organic skin care, art and jewellery was also on sale with pieces from those within Dunedin's creative community.
