Concert raises money for autism support

Playing French composer Gabriel Faure’s Elegie, Op 24 and then reflecting on their performance are Sophie Sun (piano) and Heleen du Plessis (cello) during an autism fundraising concert at Otago Boys’ High School last night.

The Connections concert also featured guest speaker and behaviour consultant Annie Heron and musicians John van Buskirk, Emily Sterk and Tom McGrath and Balmacewen Intermediate pupils and pianists Ozan Biner-McGrath and Benjamin Sun.

Proceeds from the event were to go to Otago Children's Autism Support Group and Autism New Zealand.
