Conference roles

Dunedin City Council business and events tourism adviser Bree Jones has been appointed to the board of Conference and Incentives New Zealand, and elected chairwoman of the New Zealand Convention Bureau (NZCB).

The NZCB is the collective group of convention bureaus, which promote their city or region as a place to hold conferences, conventions and other business events.

Mrs Jones said her role was to work with the individual bureaus and represent them on issues and opportunities in the industry.
