A 25-year-old Dunedin man will appear in Dunedin District Court tomorrow morning charged with wounding with reckless regard, in relation to an assault at Mobil Forbury, on Hillside Rd, at the weekend.
Detective Sergeant Dylan Ross, of Dunedin, said the arrest was made yesterday.
The 43-year-old victim of the assault was taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries. He was in a stable condition yesterday, Det Sgt Ross said.
He thanked members of the public who came forward with information that helped police make the arrest.
