Main South Rd in Green Island will temporarily return to two-way traffic as pipe renewal and roading work continues.
A Dunedin City Council spokesman said at present the westbound one-way traffic flow towards Brighton was in place in Main South Rd for pipe renewal work between Jenkins and Church Sts.
It was anticipated the pipe renewal work would be completed on Friday for the road to reopen to two-way traffic for a few weeks.
The Church St and Shand St intersection would remain closed during that time so new kerbing and channels could be installed.
