Delicate silicate microfossil images on show

Andrea Bell, curator of art at the Hocken Library, with photographs of historic microscopic slides of diatoms being displayed in The Glass Archive exhibition in the library's gallery.

The images, made by Associate Prof Wayne Barrar, of Massey University, bring to life a world of ``spectacularly diverse and arresting microfossils''.

The exhibition runs until April 13.
