A man escaped from his car unscathed after it ran off the road into Otago Harbour yesterday.
Emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident, off Portobello Rd, about 1.30pm, by which stage the man had escaped from the vehicle.
A police spokeswoman said the man was the only person in the vehicle.
