Dunedin Airport welcome for All Blacks

The Dunedin City Council is encouraging people to dress up to welcome the All Blacks and French rugby teams when they arrive at Dunedin Airport.

The All Blacks arrive at 5.30pm on Sunday, June 17 and the French team arrive at 6.45pm on Thursday, June 21.

The teams will play at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday, June 23.

In a statement from the council released, it said both teams would be welcomed by King’s and Queen’s High Schools’ kapa haka group, He Waka Kotuia, and then piped through the terminal by the City of Dunedin Pipe Band.
