A 23-year-old Dunedin man has denied the alleged rape of a woman in Lake Hawea on December 28 last year.
The man faces three charges of sexually violating the woman, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years' imprisonment, and one count of being a male assaulting a female by ''biting, pulling hair and holding down''.
The accused has been remanded in custody ahead of a case review hearing, scheduled for February 11.
