The Fairfield Scout Troop is preparing for a group camp being held at Tirohanga Camp late this month.
The Scouts have spent the past few sessions preparing for the camp, including learning first aid, knot skills and bridge building.
The Keas and Cub pack are also attending.
The Cubs are learning new camp fire skits to perform to the group and the Keas are preparing for a night away from home.
The Fairfield Troop has been providing adventure to children for more than 45 years, teaching children vital life skills, new experiences and team work.
There are vacancies in the Kea, Cub and Scout sections.
