Feeling their way

Pedestrians cross Highgate in Maori Hill amid  heavy fog that shrouded lower-lying parts of Dunedin yesterday.

Three departing flights from Dunedin Airport were cancelled and no  flights were able to land for most of the morning.

Further challenging driving conditions and disruptions to flights  are expected this morning as low cloud continues to linger off the coast.
