Ghost (buses) in the machine

Despite there being no bus services on Good Friday, the timetables continued to display departure times at the Dunedin bus depot.

A post was made to the Orbus Dunedin Facebook page on Wednesday night regarding the Easter break — but some missed the memo.

A few people were spotted waiting at bus stops, unaware the drivers were on holiday.

The bus service will continue its regular timetable today with another break on Sunday, returning to service on Monday.

The Monday bus service will follow the usual Sunday timetable — every 30 minutes between 8.20am and 8.20pm.

The Otago Regional Council was unavailable to comment.
