Good haul

University of Otago student Emma Cordell (18), of Dunedin, with a haul of pre-loved textbooks she bought at the Student Christian Movement Book Exchange at the All Saints Church Hall yesterday.

She was one of about 300 students who sorted through hundreds of text books, looking for bargains.

The books were sold on behalf of their previous owners, for at least 25% cheaper than  new editions. The student-run exchange has been operating for 84 years.
