iD Dunedin Fashion has benefited from a $15,000 grant from the Otago Community Trust, money it is using to bring Italian entrepreneur and former model Stefan Siegel to Dunedin.
The founder of fashion web-platform Not Just A Label is coming to the city as a judge for the iD International Emerging Designer Awards on March 16.
Event publicist Amie Richardson said the grant had been given to help grow the awards, which this year attracted applications from more than 150 emerging designers around the world.
"We want to build on this further and extend our reach by building on international collaborations and partnerships.''
