The grounds of the first property saved by the Otago Peninsula Trust will be lit with a golden glow this week.
Works from Otago sculptors Juliet Novena Sorrell, Josephine Regan, Bryn Jones, Philippa Wilson, Suzanne Emslie, Elizabeth Jenkins and Julie Butler will be on display throughout the Glenfalloch gardens to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Otago Peninsula Trust.
Works created by Glenfalloch staff would also be on display and lit up from today until Friday.
Glenfalloch gardener Alan Funnell said his sculpture, using old cutlery from Glenfalloch, was about ''bringing the table to the garden''.
Mr Funnell asked a man welding bench tops to make the flower sculpture, but the idea was his.
Glenfalloch events organiser Glenda Bruce said the sculptures would be on display until a public gala day on October 15.
The gala day would include a petting zoo, school sales tables and fundraising for the Yellow Eyed Penguin Trust.
Otago Peninsula Trust chief executive Robyn McDonald said Glenfalloch had become a major Dunedin asset since it was bought about 50 years ago.
The night garden would be open from 7.30pm to 10pm, tonight until Friday.
