These Brighton Rd bus shelters could be soon be painted with new murals. Keep Dunedin Beautiful is considering repainting the shelters, and the Saddle Hill Community Board last week brainstormed mural ideas.
Board member Jonathan Usher said the board favoured painting the shelter near the Brighton Surf Club with a surf club theme, while Keith McFadyen said he would like to see a sea safety message painted on the shelter.
The board agreed that mural ideas for the other bus shelter on Brighton Rd, near Scroggs Hill Rd, could be decided by Big Rock Primary School pupils.
