A young man has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Mosgiel this morning.
The accident happened about 10.45am at the intersection of Quarry and Gladstone Rds.
Z service station employee Monique Ayers witnessed the accident and said the car looked like it was slowing down for the lights when the young man was hit.
Police were seen interviewing two other young men and the driver of the car.
Senior Sergeant Darryl Lennane, of Dunedin, said the 17-year-old man was transported to Dunedin Hopspital with suspected pelvic and leg injuries.
Snr Sgt Lennane said he was with someone else when the incident occurred.
