Tash Columbus (left) and Sommer O’Shea, both of #teamtash Fitness Studio, lead about 140 women in what is believed to be one of Dunedin’s largest group workouts, to raise money for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ on Saturday.

The Breastfit 45-minute interactive group workout was held at the Kavanagh College gymnasium.

Ms Columbus said the ultimate goal was to "educate, inspire and empower women" to take ownership of their bodies, and that included regular self-checks.

"When women get together and support each other, we’re unstoppable," she said.

The Dunedin event raised $12,390 for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
