More than 200 people have used the Citizens Advice Bureau's outreach service in Mosgiel since it was established a year ago.
The weekly clinic is held at the Mosgiel Library every Wednesday from 11am-1.30pm.
The Otago Justice of the Peace Association holds a clinic at the same time.
Citizens Advice Bureau volunteer Brian Holden said more than 200 people had used the service during that time, including eight last Wednesday.
In Dunedin, CAB deals with more than 13,000 inquiries a year.
Mr Holden said about a third of the Mosgiel calls related to neighbourhood disputes, including issues over fence heights or overhanging trees.
''We always tell people to keep talking with their neighbours and don't get into conflict with them,'' he said.
Other queries in the past year included an employment dispute over a worker's reduced hours and elderly people concerned about visits from door-to-door sales people.
''We have been very happy with the year. The numbers have been building up but we would always like more people to call in.''
Mr Holden said CAB would continue to run the service until at least June and then ''see where we go from there.''
