Two paddleboards seen adrift in the middle of Otago Harbour sparked a police callout on Sunday.
Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond, of Dunedin, said police received a report of the paddleboards in the harbour ‘‘with no people attached’’ about 3.30pm.
However, an investigation determined the boards were old and had not been used in a long time, he said.
