A man who went missing in the Waikouaiti area has been found safe and sound.
A search and rescue operation was earlier launched for local man Glenn Linde (49), after reports he had not been seen at his home for "a number of days''.
Police said they had concerns for his wellbeing, and LandSAR volunteers from Dunedin and Oamaru were assisting in the search.
In a media release this evening police said Mr Linde had been found safe and sound, and they thanked the public for their assistance.
