Police are seeking witnesses to the pedestrian fatality at the intersection of Gt King and Hanover Sts in Dunedin on Monday.
Sergeant Sheldon Kindley, of Dunedin, said police had spoken to some witnesses, but believed there were people who may have seen the incident and had not come forward.
Speaking to more witnesses meant police would be able to progress their investigations more quickly, Sgt Kindley said.
Pedestrian Shirley Anne Heads (64), of Dunedin, died after being struck by the trailer of a Hall Bros truck which was turning left at the corner of Hanover and Gt King Sts about 1pm.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should contact the police, Sgt Kindley said.
