A 27-year-old man is expected to appear in the Dunedin District Court today on a range of charges, including drugs and driving charges, following a short police pursuit in Belleknowes.
A police spokeswoman said the man failed to stop for police while driving in Preston Cres about 3.15am today.
''The vehicle stopped a short time later and a man fled the vehicle on foot and went into bush area.
''With the assistance of police dogs, the man was located and arrested.''
