Power is back on after it went out to some consumers in Mosgiel this afternoon.
Aurora Energy advised of the outage on its Facebook page earlier, saying a response crew was on the way to investigate.
In an update shortly before 3pm Aurora said power had been restored, and advised anyone still without power to contact them.
There was no word on what caused the outage.
Affected streets included Forth St, Eden St and Goodall St.
On social media some people reported hearing a bang before the power went out.
