Repairman accused of preying on boys

Police want information about a former washing machine serviceman accused of sexually assaulting boys in Dunedin.

Leonard James Mulholland was arrested in December in relation to alleged historical sexual offending involving boys.

A total of 95 sexual offending charges are to be laid against the 71-year-old Palmerston man.

He is due to appear in Oamaru District Court on January 29 accused of indecent assaults on 10 victims.

The alleged offending dates back to between 1980 and 2010 and occurred in Dunedin and Otago when Mr Mulholland was working as a washing machine serviceman in Dunedin.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who has further information about Mulholland and his activities.
