Work on a major new retaining wall on private property in St Clair continues.
The wall is being put in place after a slip caused damage during the June 2013 storm that also undermined the Esplanade at St Clair.
Work has been taking place on the wall for the past several weeks.
The owners of affected properties declined to comment on the wall's progress, although one confirmed the Earthquake Commission was involved.
