A motorcyclist has received a leg injury following a collision with a car near Portobello this afternoon.
A Police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the intersection of Harington Point Rd and Weir Rd, about 1.30pm.
"It was described as a low impact collision between a car and a motorbike
"The motorcyclist was alert and conscious, just complaining of some ankle pain.''
A St John spokesman said the rider, who is in his sixties, has been taken to Dunedin Hospital as a precaution.
