The shallow draft vessel arrived from Nelson by road.
Ms McGregor plans to start cruises, and ferry rides from Portobello to Careys Bay, with her new business Port to Port Cruises and Wildlife Tours from September 13.
Before the vessel starts cruises on Otago Harbour a 300hp motor and an auxiliary motor will be fitted.
