Southerners’ service celebrated

Twenty-two New Year and Queen’s Birthday honours recipients were recognised for their services at investiture ceremonies at Government House in Wellington yesterday.

Appearing with Governor-General Dame Patsy Reddy are John Lamont (above), of Wanaka, who received a QSM for services to aviation, and David Crerar, of Dunedin, who received a MNZM for services to mountaineering and outdoor recreation.
