Sustainability outlined for old boy

Former Otago Boys' High School pupil, Attorney-general, and Minister for Economic Development, Environment, Trade and Growth and Associate Minister of Finance David Parker watches a presentation by pupils, about the school's sustainability projects, during a visit yesterday.

The school has been working hard over the past two years, to replace the diesel generator at its lodge in Mt Aspiring National Park with a hydro turbine generator.

Mr Parker praised the work and spoke to the school's enviro group and senior economics pupils about some of his parliamentary work, particularly his passion for environmental sustainability and the economy.
