A break-in at a school pool in Dunedin yesterday morning has been attributed to "kids doing dumb stuff".
A police spokesman said they had made one arrest after three children were caught swimming at Dunedin North Intermediate about 8.45am.
A police spokesman said two boys and a girl were involved.
One boy was arrested in relation to unlawfully being in a building.
Principal Heidi Hayward confirmed the break-in, and said any damage would be assessed in the coming days.
It seemed to be a case of "kids doing dumb stuff".
"It’s frustrating, but pleasing that the police have acted quickly. Hopefully there will be some reparations from the children."
