Two drivers received minor injuries after their vehicles collided on Taieri Mouth Rd on Saturday afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened about 4pm between Otokia-Kuri Bush Rd and Dicksons Rd.
One of the drivers was taken to Dunedin Hospital and the other was spoken to by police.
The road was closed for a short time while debris was cleared from the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the accident are continuing, she said.
