Ukulele popular

Ukulele-playing workshops at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum during the recent school holidays proved ''immensely popular'', acting museum director Jennifer Evans said.

Each day's activities in the recent workshops had been fully booked, Ms Evans said in a report, tabled at a recent Toitu board meeting.

The museum was also running more Toddler Time sessions each month and all children's programmes were proving ''very popular'', she said.
