The Dunedin RSA needs volunteers to make more than 4000 rosemary posies ahead of Anzac Day.

The posy making session will be held on Wednesday, April 24, from 9am until about noon, at HMNZS Toroa, in St Andrew St.

Donations of rosemary can be delivered to HMNZS Toroa by 9am on Wednesday.

Tea and coffee will be provided and volunteers should take their own scissors and secateurs.

For information please phone Dunedin RSA on 466-4886.

Anzac Eve service

St Paul's Cathedral in the Octagon will host an Anzac Eve Service of Reflection on Wednesday from 7pm.

The service will have a less formal, more introspective format than in previous years.

Through a selection of poetry and bible readings, prayers and hymns, the congretation will be invited to reflect on all that Anzac Day represents for New Zealanders.

Guided tour of cemetery

The Southern Heritage Trust will lead a guided tour of memorials in the Northern Cemetery on Anzac Day.

The tour will depart from the Sexton's Cottage, off Lovelock Ave, at 11am on April 25.

Trail brochures are $3.
