Lower rates rises, revised budgets and increased borrowing will be discussed by councillors today as part of the Dunedin City Council annual plan deliberations
In a report to the council last month Mayor Aaron Hawkins said there would need to be a raft of measures in response to the effects of Covid-19, including asking council staff to prepare revised annual plan budgets.
Deliberations on Dunedin City Council’s draft 2020-21 annual plan are scheduled to run today and Friday if needed.
Full comprehensive coverage of the deliberations will be available in tomorrow's Otago Daily Times and on the ODT website.
