His team, also featuring Stephen Van der Peet (in background) and Tyler West, went on to win the three-a-side tournament, defeating the Wild Hogs 26-10 in the final.
ParaFed Otago sport development officer Kelsey Evans said the "pretty impressive final" was a great finish to an exciting day of competition.
She said the competitors were hoping to head to a wheelchair basketball tournament in Canterbury in July.
ParaFed Otago provides sporting opportunities for those with physical disabilities.
Mrs Evans said the recent acquisition of 10 new multi-sport chairs, with the support of Invacare, had been a boon for her organisation.
