Further details of the royal visit to Dunedin and Queenstown, detailing the whirlwind Otago leg, have been released.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their 8-month-old son, Prince George, will spend 10 days in New Zealand from Monday.
The royal visits office's media manager, Allen Walley, said the Royal couple, who will not be bringing their son to Otago, will fly to Dunedin on an Air Force 757 on the morning of April 13.
They will be greeted at Dunedin International Airport about 9.25am by Dunedin Mayor Dave Cull.
After a powhiri on the tarmac, they will be driven by motorcade to St Paul's Cathedral in the Octagon, where they will attend a Palm Sunday service, scheduled to begin about 10am and take an hour.
There will be opportunities for the public to get a glimpse of the couple as they enter and leave the cathedral via the front steps.
If time permits, they may greet members of the public in the Octagon after the service.
From there, they will be taken to the Regal Rugby Fun Day at Forsyth Barr Stadium, where they will meet All Blacks including captain Richie McCaw, some Rippa rugby coaches and Cure Kids ambassadors before a spot of ''coaching'' with a team on field.
They will hand out prizes before returning to the airport and flying to Queenstown, arriving at 2pm.
They will travel directly to a function at Amisfield, where they will sample local wine and food. About 3.15pm, they will go to the Shotover River for a jet-boat ride.
The route from Amisfield to Shotover will go up State Highway 6 towards Cromwell, turn in at Arrow Junction and then on to McDonnell Rd, going past The Hills and through the residential area, before turning into Malaghans Rd, past Millbrook Corner and Millbrook to Shotover Jet.
Key vantage points have been marked out as the Amisfield end of the Lake Hayes reserve and the Millbrook park corner.
The couple will stay overnight in Queenstown and fly to Christchurch the next morning.
A Dunedin Venues Management Ltd spokesman said 4800 free tickets had been issued for the Regal Rugby Fun Day at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
Tickets could be picked up at the Forsyth Barr Stadium Gate A box office or ordered online at www.ticketdirect.co.nz A courier charge applied for tickets booked online.
The stadium had originally intended to ticket only the 4000 ''premium seats'' in the stadium, but given the interest in the event it was decided everyone wanting to attend the event now had to have one of the free tickets.
There is no cap on how many can attend the event.
