Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault at the Dunedin International Airport last week to come forward.
They say a man was attacked outside the airport's main doors and suffered a serious injury to his face about 6am on Friday, February 10.
He was then assaulted again a short time later near the Fire Station at the airport.
The man's vehicle was then unlawfully taken.
Police said today they have two "persons of interest" in custody in relation to the incident, but want to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the attack.
