A woman received moderate injuries in a crash on Dunedin's Northern Motorway this morning.
A police spokeswoman said it was called to the crash, which was just on the Dunedin side of the Pigeon Flat summit, at 7.40am where a car had rolled on to its side.
The woman was trapped for a short time after the crash.
Only one car was involved in the crash.
The motorway was completely closed for a time after the crash, but was reopened to both lanes just before 9am.
A St John spokesman said one patient was taken to Dunedin Hospital in a moderate condition.
One woman was injured in the crash and taken to Dunedin Hospital, but police did not have details about the seriousness of her injuries.
