Miss Bennetti's garments have been worn by Lorraine Downes and Rachel Hunter, and she spent 12 years in Hong Kong creating fabrics for designers and labels including Trelise Cooper, Collette Dinnigan, Zambesi and Tanya Carlson.
It will be the first time Miss Bennetti has been involved in iD event.
She was ''excited and honoured'' to showcase her womenswear to a southern audience and looked forward to working alongside Dunedin designer and friend Tanya Carlson.
''We both have an appreciation for vintage fabrics, prints, silk and especially beading. She also does bridalwear so it's quite exciting to be working alongside her.''
Miss Bennetti said her garments would provide a different element to the Dunedin fashion shows.
''Dunedin has an eclectic and distinctive fashion style and because my work is very embellished and feminine and bright, it will be quite different to what Dunedin audiences are used to seeing on the runway. It's such a wonderful opportunity to show my collection,'' she said.
Fifteen of her luxury women's garments, including three bridal gowns, will grace the runway during the iD Dunedin Fashion Show at the Dunedin Railway Station on March 15 and 16.
Miss Bennetti said the range included new pieces as well as standout dresses from previous seasons.
She will also be involved as an iD judge.
''I'm really looking forward to it.''
Previous New Zealand designers and labels involved as guests of iD included Zambesi, Liz Mitchell, Francis Hooper, Adrian Hailwood and Cybele.iD Dunedin Fashion Week committee chairwoman Susie Staley said audiences were guaranteed to see an exquisite collection from Miss Bennetti.
''We're really excited to have her here and as a big fan of her designs I personally can't wait to see her gorgeous creations on the iD catwalk,'' Ms Staley said.
