“Discover a Life of Learning” at Brockville Full Primary School

Recently our junior block underwent a transformation by way of a mural which depicts the journey  from a seed to an albatross.  We have four junior classes which enables us to have low student/staff ratios.

Our dynamic teachers in the junior school offer fantastic learning programmes with an emphasis on structured literacy. Senior students also spend time buddy reading with our juniors.

Opportunities exist for our students to participate in many of our group activities such as Kapa Haka, Pasifika, Choir, Dance Club, Gardening Group, School Council  to name a few.

Each Friday our junior syndicate gathers to enjoy “GoldenTime” enjoying games, art, dressing up, water play etc as a reward for working hard during the week.

Please contact our school (phone 03 476-3717) or check us out on facebook for further information.

Our journalists are your neighbours

We are the South's eyes and ears in crucial council meetings, at court hearings, on the sidelines of sporting events and on the frontline of breaking news.

As our region faces uncharted waters in the wake of a global pandemic, Otago Daily Times continues to bring you local stories that matter.

We employ local journalists and photographers to tell your stories, as other outlets cut local coverage in favour of stories told out of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

You can help us continue to bring you local news you can trust by becoming a supporter.
