Concord School

We offer a broad and rich curriculum while continuing to provide a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy.

We are proud of the fantastic opportunities that we offer the children. Some of these are:

  • Small class numbers, therefore more individualised instruction
  • CARE values of Confidence, Respect, Responsibility and Excellence
  • A range of programmes for students with identified learning needs
  • Overnight camps
  • A range of sports teams
  • Guitar and ukulele groups
  • Clever Cats, our fortnightly pre-school transition programme
  • After school care
  • Expansive playgrounds, bike tracks and school bikes
  • No school fees and free healthy school lunches
  • A strong community school
  • A supportive Parents Group and Board that ensures our school is well resourced

Our office will be open on the morning of Monday the 31st of January. Our first day for students will be Tuesday the 1st of February.

Our journalists are your neighbours

We are the South's eyes and ears in crucial council meetings, at court hearings, on the sidelines of sporting events and on the frontline of breaking news.

As our region faces uncharted waters in the wake of a global pandemic, Otago Daily Times continues to bring you local stories that matter.

We employ local journalists and photographers to tell your stories, as other outlets cut local coverage in favour of stories told out of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

You can help us continue to bring you local news you can trust by becoming a supporter.
