Feeling the soft, squishy substance sneak amidst my toes as I wiggled them to-and-fro, a sudden burst of energy struck me.
Itching to twirl in it, lunge in and submerge in it, I lost control and swooped in.
Lazing in the chocolate brown, mushy puddle, I could no longer see myself, I was camouflaged.
I lay on my front, popping up and down, glaring through the wilderness, like a crocodile watching its prey.
Struggling to breathe, I tilt my head back to keep my nose above the surface.
The thick slimy liquid closes over my ears, as I gradually began to disappear, going down deeper and deeper.
It was suctioning me under, like a vacuum cleaner.
Clenching my hands over the log that sits opposite me, I pull myself up and cradle my arms around it.
Not letting go, I wait silently, for my hero to come out and rescue me.
