An eagle-eyed Aucklander has earned a free All Blacks jersey signed by Steven Luatua -- a reward for finding his lost wallet.

Blues flanker Luatua took to Twitter early this morning to offer a reward for the return of his wallet that he misplaced after the Auckland team beat Northland 38-10 at Eden Park last night.

"On a down buzz though, I lost my wallet [sad face] If anyone finds it, Iv got one of my All Blacks Jersey lined up, it's be signed #HelpABrotherOut [sic]," he tweeted about midnight.

The call for help received support from the online community, with 37 re-tweets from fans.

About midday today, Luatua posted a photo with his wallet-finder that showed him giving him the jersey.

"As promised, All Blacks Jersey for my wallet. This guy didn't even know I had it lined up. Genuine good guy. Thanks," he wrote.

The wallet loss came after the 23-year-old had expressed his jubilation at having his Grandmother in the 5000-strong crowd that watched last night's match.

"Pretty special having my grandma in the crowd tonight, first time playing in front of her, thank you Lord for making it possible x."
