An Australian tourist is dead after crashing into a parked vehicle in Rotorua.
The crash happened on Rangiuru St about 4pm yesterday, Rotorua Senior Sergeant Brent Crowe said.
The vehicles collided at low speed and police were investigating whether the tourist had a pre-existing medical condition that could have contributed to the crash, he said.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
Mr Crowe said the driver's details would not be released until next of kin had been contacted.
