Balcony death accused Gable Tostee will argue to be released on bail at a court hearing today.
Tostee, 28, was arrested and charged with murder in August after Lower Hutt woman Warriena Wright fell 14 floors to her death from his Surfers Paradise apartment.
The pair met through the Tinder dating app while Ms Wright, 26, was in Australia for a wedding. Tostee maintains he is innocent.
He has been remanded in custody since his arrest.
Tostee's bail hearing is set down to begin at the Supreme Court in Brisbane at 10am local time (1pm NZT).
His lawyer Terry O'Gorman confirmed the bail hearing would take place today, but said he was unable to make any further comment as the case was before the courts.
A previous bail hearing in September was adjourned to allow for more information to be brought before the judge.
Tostee has replaced his legal team and is now represented by Robertson O'Gorman Solicitors.
