A body has been found in a vehicle at Katikati.
Police were called to the scene at Beach Rd this morning.
Senior Sergeant Glenn Saunders said police were dealing with a sudden death at Katikati but the incident was a coronial matter and there would be no further details released because of this.
Mr Saunders confirmed the dead person had been found in a vehicle.
