A homicide investigation has started after a man's body was found in a suburban Tauranga driveway.
Police were called to an address in Mansfield St, 7km south of Tauranga city centre, at 9.15 this morning.
This afternoon, the area was cordoned off and a scene examination was under way.
Senior Sergeant Eddie Lyttle told the Bay of Plenty Times there was a party at a property in the street last night.
The Fire Service was also called out to the Mansfield St property.
