Brothers in hospital after high-speed crash

Two brothers are in Dunedin Hospital after a rolling a car near Mosgiel around 10.30pm yesterday.

Senior Sergeant Steve Aitken said it appeared the pair, aged about 20, had been travelling at high speed when they reached a small hump in the road.

The car veered off course, ploughing through about 30 metres of fence before swinging back across the road and rolling into a paddock.

Both were in a moderate to serious condition, one with neck and chest injuries, the other with face and head wounds.

The Serious Crash Unit was investigating.
