Two brothers charged with assaulting Prime Minister John Key at Waitangi in February changed their pleas to guilty when they appeared in Kaikohe District Court today.
John Junior Popata, 33, and Wikatana Popata, 19, had pleaded not guilty when they appeared in Kaitaia District Court in March.
Submissions for defence and the Crown were being made in court today.
